Recently, I’ve been receiving returned packages showing suspicious signs of tampering—each one has been cut open, all items inside individually checked, then repacked and sealed using Amazon-branded tape and seals. This consistent pattern suggests the packages may be undergoing an internal inspection process, possibly by Amazon’s warehouse or returns team, but the method and condition in which they are returned raise concerns about potential mishandling, unauthorized access, or a breakdown in standard return protocols. Have any of you ever faced such an issue ever or in recent times?

Hello fellow sellers and Amazon support,

I’ve been a seller on Amazon for over 5–6 years and have always received my disbursements on the regular weekly payment cycle without any issues. However, recently, all my available funds have suddenly been moved to the Account Level Reserve, and my disbursement shows 0 funds available to withdraw.

This has never happened before, and it’s seriously affecting my cash flow and ability to continue normal business operations.

Important points to note:

My account health is in good standing.

All performance metrics, including order defect rate, late shipment rate, and cancellation rate, are well within acceptable thresholds.

There are no policy violations or unresolved issues on my account.

I’ve contacted Seller Support multiple times, but only received generic, forwarded messages without a clear explanation.

I’ve also searched multiple Amazon forums across different countries and found that many other sellers are facing the same issue, but no concrete solution is provided.

I’m reaching out here hoping for help or clarification:

Why were my funds suddenly placed in reserve after years of regular payouts?

What exactly triggered this change despite a clean account history?

When can I expect my next payment?

Any assistance or input from experienced sellers or Amazon moderators would be greatly appreciated. Holding back seller funds without a proper explanation or timeline can seriously impact day-to-day operations.

I scheduled an FC Inbound pickup to replenish my inventory. The shipment has still not been picked up after 8 days of the scheduled date. My product inventory is going critically low. I've been following up with Seller Support on a daily basis. Only reply I get is that their internal team is looking into it.

So here I am wondering if I could create a shipment and drop it off myself to the nearest Amazon FC in India? It's still a long drive but would be better than going out of stock.

Fraud returns and no verification before refund

hello

I have had 2 cases where customer took product and filed return saying they dint receive product infact one was cash on delivery and tracking shows its delivered . Amazon blindly gave them refund and when i communicated with one customer saying they returned a broken wire instead of product or wrong item they claimed to have received amazon raised violation warning to me instead

No help from seller support and safety claim is just refund of shipping amount .

Is this a new way of scamming sellers or is it just delivery agents failure to check return. ?

I have been selling on Amazon for so many years and past years I experienced a lot of returns. And I complaint to Amazon that there are so many fake customers are there in the market, especially COD customers. They are not true customers but harassment by other competitors or other players. I demanded to give power to cancel such kind of orders. We can recognise the fake order by their profile and easily we know they are fake, but Amazon never hear our plea. Instead, Amazon punishes the sellers if they cancel the order. Many time I cancelled the order and lost more than my profit. Where is the justice we don't know. Neither Amazon block these fake buyers in the market. My product is electronic components and once damaged can't be used. When we ship and return packages are damaged and components to get damaged. So here we are losing double the amount. and it is total loss. Amazon should allow us to cancel certain fake buyers and protect our goods from damage and loss. Amazon should filter out all the fake consumers for better quality of business.
