Namaste Sellers,

Some time ago in this thread, I asked about your best tips for creating super-hit product titles that bring maximum sales. Today, I'm sharing key tips that can help boost your listings:

🎯Follow this winning formula:

Brand + Model/Product Name + Key Feature(s) + Size/Dimensions + Color

Example: "Desi Comfort Cotton Kurta, Full Sleeve, XL, Royal Blue"

✅Important points to remember:

  • Research high-volume search terms using tools and extensions
  • Include primary keywords first
  • Capitalize First Letter Of Words
  • Use common abbreviations (cm not centimeter)
  • Use numbers (2 not two)
  • Update titles for all variations
  • Keep titles clean and scannable

What to avoid: ❌ ALL CAPS ❌ "Best quality", "100% original", "Best selling" ❌ Spelling mistakes ❌ Multiple !!! or ??? ❌ Stuffing too many keywords

AMAZON being bully

I have been selling on Amazon for 2 years now. I have accepted everything they have thrown at me, like fake returns, fake reviews, fake orders, etc. I have been using self ship because they easy ship guys used to come once every 3-4 days (Amazon never accepted it though). The courier I was using have a reputation of slow delivery. That is why the buyers were also complaining for faster delivery.

This is why I decided to switch to a premium courier service. As expected their charges are high, but the transit time is very low. I updated my shipping template as per the new transit time, which is mostly 1-3days. But now AMAZON decided that the transit time can not be this low and they have updated them to 5-7 days n the product page.

Upon conversation with support guy, he said the shipping team updated them "to set realistic expectations for potential buyers based on the performance of the preferred shipping carriers."

Are they doing this intentionally to promote their easy ship ? I mean why is there even an option for the seller to set the transit time in the first place ?

TEAM, I AM FACING A PROBLEM WITH MY AMAZON SELLER ACCOUNT.

AMAZON IS CHARGING AUDIT FOR SHIPPING.

IN THE AUDIT REPORT, THEY CHARGED US FOR THE WEIGHT SLAB OF 1000-2000 GRAMS, WHERE MY WHOLE PRODUCT, ALONG WITH PACKAGING, WEIGHED LESS THAN 500 GRAMS.

I HAVE SUBMITTED REIMBURSE REPORTS MANY TIMES THEY REJECT THEM FOR SILLY REASONS.

PLEASE HELP ME. THEY CHARGED AROUND 1 LAKH.

Self Ship Fee Hike Calculation

I am selling small products at the price of 149rs (Slab 18%GST). My margin is 10-20rs. Currently I am paying 26rs as referral + closing fee. After 7 April I will have to pay 45rs as closing fee. I use self ship only because Easy Ship charges are 90rs per order. After 7 April it will be 65rs for local and national. If I switch to Easy Ship then the problem is they don't come regularly and it affects your account health. It also mean that there will be no extra profit which you get from regional orders saving on shipping charges. So the profits are going to be 0. If we increase the price then no one will buy it.

Calculation For Easy Ship Order 149rs (New Policy) :

Shipping 65 + 5 Closing Fee = 70rs

GST 18% on product = 23rs

Packing Material = 7rs

Total = 100rs (Balance 49rs)

Calculation For Self Ship 149rs (New Policy) :

Shipping 62rs + 45rs Closing Fee = 107rs (For regional 40rs + 45rs Closing fee = 85rs)

GST 18% on Product = 23rs

Packing Material = 7

Total = National 137rs (Balance 12rs)

Total = Regional 115rs (Balance 34rs)

I want to warn you about a major risk when selling on Amazon USA. I made the mistake of trusting Amazon’s fulfillment system, and now I am facing legal trouble and financial losses because of their mismanagement.

What Happened to Me?

✅ I sent 82 units of my inventory to Amazon USA via FBA shipment (FBA18FH4N578, 7RSA8A6G).

✅ Amazon received, checked in, and sold my inventory.

✅ But later, Amazon lost my inventory and refuses to reimburse me!

Fake buyers and no intervention by Amazon

A buyer has placed multiple orders from one name. 35 units by one buyer in different orders. Now I have to send these since it will impact the metrics and once I send if the buyer keeps accepting the orders, I will have to pay the returns cost and every other cost involved. Amazon has to give out something like Sheild cancellations in order to protect from such frauds. I have raised suspicious order tickets and there is zero response from there. It never really responds actually. Buyer is from haryana and has a history of placing orders and then cancelling right before the delivery

I am satisfied with selling on Amazon. I know that out of 100 sellers, only about 5% can sustain long-term success. However, if you have enough knowledge and understand how Amazon works, it’s possible to be profitable and grow your business on this platform. Challenges are part of the journey, but with the right approach, Amazon can be a great opportunity

Case Id: 10965026102 . We are facing error "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location." for last 3 days for All products listed in Amazon. It was working fine 4 days back.

Due to this, we are having zero sales and our existing customer might buy other items & loose them. This is certainly a glitch from Amazon as "Add to Cart" button appears sometime but during checkout it again provide same error message.

We raised ticket: Case Id: 10965026102. Even after explaining, the issue is critical for us, Amazon customer care had standard answers and initially mentioned it will take 24-48 hours to resolve. It is 3 days since issue was raised and still same issue. If you call customer care, every time new personal picks up and provide a different answers.

For Amazon seller, there are so many KPI available. However, no proper SLA is provided to seller for their issue. Amazon should maintain the same standard for seller as well.

Sometime, It feels like Aamzon doesn't care as customer might buy other products in the platform & Amazon sell is not i. impacted. However, we are slowly building customer and due to such issues, we will lose customer. This is really getting frustrating and very poor support. Was expecting better from Amazon.
